The Imperial Theatre in Oravița, the oldest in Romania, perfectly preserved, in the old part of town. The Caraș Valley Museum, the Knoblau Pharmacy and the Mint Museum are all there too. 33 km away.

The watermills at Rudăria, in Eftimie Murgu. On the way, before Bozovici, Bigăr Waterfall is visible on the right.

Călugăra Monastery, up in the mountains beside a waterfall, on the Potoc–Socolari–Ilidia–Ciclova Montană route. 20–25 km away.
The thermal open-air baths at Oravița, 5 km beyond the town on the road to Timișoara. Open at weekends, in good weather.
Șușara Waterfall and Gorge
Three hours there and back along the water, no difficulty. The entrances to the old mine galleries are visible on the way.
The Nera Gorges
Twenty-two kilometres of gorge, caves, overhanging paths and cable crossings. The wildest in the country.
The Tunnels and Podul Bei
Tunnels cut by hand through the rock, along the Nera. Two hours of easy walking with the river alongside.
